My Background

I have been working in the social work field since 2010 as a case manager, advocate, community organizer, and group facilitator. I have been practicing as an individual therapist since 2016. I graduated with my Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work with a specialization in Global Social Work and working with immigrant and refugee communities. I hold a special interest in trauma and resiliency work and working with immigrant, asylee, and refugee communities.

I have extensive clinical experience working with adults and children with current and past experiences of sexual/physical violence, folks living with HIV/AIDS, survivors of torture, folks with hoarding issues, and with folks experiencing complex and traumatic grief. I additionally have significant experience working with folks whose sexuality, gender expression and gender identity, and relationship styles are considered non-traditional.

Solidarity Work

I am a volunteer clinician at a human rights clinic to conduct asylum evaluations for survivors of torture in support of their asylum applications.

On a personal note

I was born and raised in NYC and grew up on Roosevelt Island. I am a native French speaker, Jewish, an activist, and vegan. I’m queer and trans (my pronouns are they/them).

In my free time I ride my bike, read, go on adventures, and work on an oral history documentary project.
