Psychotherapist and Coach

Pronouns: they/them

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.
— Marcel Proust

I am an insight-oriented trauma therapist, as well as relationship/life transitions coach. When working together you can expect to be met with compassion, warmth, authenticity, curiosity, challenge, creativity, and humor. I invite all parts of you to enter the room.

“Maybe you have to know the darkness before you can appreciate the light.”

  -Madeleine L’Engle

Life can be difficult, yet I believe we have an inherent and adaptive resiliency. I don’t pretend to know the answers, but together I hope to create a space of mutual curiosity into your life experiences, patterns, relationships, communications, and goals so that you can imagine a different future.

I deeply believe that how we feel about ourselves is rooted in the quality of our relationships. After we’ve developed trust and a solid foundation to work from, together we can look at the areas that require growth and change, as well as help you to find meaning into your experiences. You can expect a space where you will be challenged and encouraged to practice healthy risk-taking. I will often use our own therapeutic relationship as a space for practice.

Expect a space where we will include your internal somatic experience as part of our work together; we will regularly invite your body into the space. Your body is a well of information and learning to translate what it’s communicating can be used to empower and deepen an understanding and connection to the self.
